Due to the recent events in the toy industry with millions of toys made in China having been recalled, Mudpuppy and Galison have stated that all of their products are tested for safety and meet all Toy Safety Standards.
"If you examine our products you will see that they have "CE" printed on them. CE stands for Conformité Européenne., the European standard for toy safety testing. We use CE in addition to American testers because they are stricter. CE testing measures all safety facts including flammability and toxic elements." Says Gerald Galison, President of Galison and Mudpuppy.
He continued "The use of paint with excessive amounts of lead which is toxic is the main issue. With a few very minor exceptions our products only involve ink on paper, which has never been implicated in any safety issue. In addition we test everything we produce."
